  • The Class of 2024, with a graduating class of 638, boasted 256 AP Scholars, 50 Dual Enrollment Scholars, and 237 Honor Graduates. Graduates received prestigious honors including National Merit Scholarship, Gates Scholarship, Questbridge Scholarship, Posse Scholarship, and a Naval Academy appointment.
  • The Georgia Department of Education named Archer High School a 2024 AP Honor School in multiple categories: AP Access & Support, AP Humanities, AP Humanities Achievement, AP School of Distinction, AP STEM, and AP STEM School of Distinction.
  • Archer's innovative AgSTEM program continues to experience significant expansion in both enrollment and course offerings. This program's success is further evidenced by three students achieving their State FFA Degree and two students earning state-level victories in Agriscience projects, with their project advancing to Nationals.
  • Archer's Fine Arts Theater Program earns regional recognition and statewide acclaim. The program achieved both regional success, placing 3rd at the 2023 GHSA Regional One-Act competition, and individual student accolades at the competition with wins for Best Actress and All-Star Cast. Further extending their achievements, students won the Design Challenge and Overall Superior Scenic Design awards at the Georgia Thespian Conference.
  • Archer Athletics had a banner year, showcasing both student and coaching excellence. Over 30 graduating athletes secured scholarships, a testament to the program's ability to develop well-rounded competitors. Standout achievements included the Boys Soccer team reaching the State Final Four, Girls Track dominating their region and county championships, Wrestling capturing a Region Championship and placing 8th at state, Boys Basketball advancing to the Sweet Sixteen, and numerous teams qualifying for the state playoffs. The program's dedication was further solidified with a Region Athletic Director and two Region Coach of the Year awards.
  • Archer's World Language Department celebrates student and teacher excellence after being recognized for the outstanding achievements of six students who earned gold or silver medals on the National French or Spanish Exams, showcasing their language proficiency. Faculty dedication was also on display, with four teachers receiving the prestigious PEAK Award.
  • Archer High School was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education for earning top honor for positive school climate with a distinguished status level for its successful implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS is a program that fosters a positive learning environment by encouraging and recognizing students who exhibit appropriate school conduct. 
  • Archer High School Earns Prestigious RAMP Designation. Archer recently earned the 2023 Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation. This designation recognizes schools committed to delivering a data-informed school counseling program aligned with The ASCA National Model: A Framework for School Counseling Programs. The RAMP designation signifies Archer's commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students.
