  • The Class of 2025, with 780 graduates, showcased exceptional academic success. This cohort includes 284 Honor Graduates and proudly features 241 Advanced Placement Scholars who completed over 2045 Advanced Placement Exams. Their accomplishments were further underscored by over $14 million in earned scholarships, including prestigious Questbridge and Posse Scholarships.
  • Archer High School's Advanced Placement (AP) program received significant accolades, being named to College Board's 2024 AP School Honor Roll with Silver in College Credits earned and Gold in College Optimization. The Georgia Department of Education also named Archer High School a 2025 AP Honor School across six categories: AP Access & Support, AP Humanities, AP Humanities Achievement, AP School of Distinction, AP STEM, and AP STEM Achievement.
  • Archer's innovative AgSTEM program continues to experience significant expansion in both enrollment and course offerings. This program's success is further evidenced by six students earning the highest FFA State Degree and seven students excelling at the State Agriscience Competition, including one team that placed first and advanced to Nationals.
  • Archer's Fine Arts Theater Program continues to achieve significant recognition. This year, our One Act Play secured 2nd place in the region. Further demonstrating the program's strength, one of our students earned All-State Theatre honors, and our drama teacher was distinguished as an Outstanding Theatre Educator by Georgia Thespians. Additionally, the Literary Team claimed a regional victory.
  • Archer Athletics had a remarkable year, with its programs securing six Region Championships and 10 teams qualifying for the state playoffs. The Girls Track and Softball teams both distinguished themselves by finishing 8th in the state. The wrestling program showcased significant strength, placing 6th in the state duals and 10th in the traditional state tournament. Demonstrating the high caliber of Archer's student-athletes, over 20 students signed scholarships to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level. The department's leadership was also recognized with the Region 4AAAAAA Athletic Director of the Year award.
  • Archer's World Language Department achieved significant recognition this year. Students earned numerous medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) and honorable mentions across the National French, Spanish, and Latin Exams. Notably, four students earned the International Skills Diploma Seal, making Archer the only school in GCPS with this distinction. The department's excellence was further highlighted by three teachers receiving the prestigious PEAK Award for Distinguished Foreign Language Teachers and the induction of 58 new members into the National Language Honor Societies (French, Spanish, and Latin).
