Varsity Boys Basketball Wins their 8th straight Region Championship! JV Boys ends their season with a perfect 18-0 season and winning the Gwinnett County Championship.

Emily Douglas advanced through a rigorous audition and was chosen to represent Grayson High School at the GMEA All-State Reading Chorus with 100 of the most talented students around the state of Georgia. Emily also received the $2,500 Polly Hinde Scholarship. Emily competed against over 100 high school seniors in a one-minute video essay to answer the question: “How will you use your education to improve your community?”

Grayson Female Trio Region Champions at GHSA Literary Competition and placed Runner-Up in State Championship. Female Soloist also Region Champion.

Grayson announces 2026 STAR Student Ethan Ewiah. He chose Mrs. Linda Maunder as his STAR Teacher from Trip Elementary.

Jenna Mai & Kevin Ngo each received a full four-year scholarship through QuestBridge National College Match Program. Jenna will attend Stanford University and Kevin will attend Northwestern University.

Grayson Rams finished as the GHSA Class 6A Girls Basketball state runner-up in 2026.

Grayson had 31 chorus students participate in the GMEA District 13 Honor Chorus in Athens, GA.

In November 2025, over 120 student leaders attended a leadership conference presented by Legacy Youth Leadership, a non-profit organization that travels around the country helping young leaders make a better world.

Tyler Atkinson was awarded the Butkus Award, an elite national honor for being the most impactful linebacker.

The Grayson High DECA members and Marketing Management students, with the assistance of their DECA chapter advisor. Saecilia Jackson, completed the certification. The SBE at Grayson High has operated for over 10 years.

Grayson Technical Education Program was able to compete in 12 events at the annual SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Competition. Grayson Tech walked away with 1st Place Gold in Internetworking (Cloud Computing) - Garnel Noel Mascaro & 2nd Place Silver in Electronic Technology (Cloud Computing) - Emmanuel Tubajika & 3rd Place Bronze in Community Service (Photography) - Anzlee Stone, Bahto Kocan, Lorenzo Johnson.

Grayson Wind Ensemble earns the distinction of performing at Georgia State University for the Music For All Southeastern Regional Concert Festival.
On Saturday, March 21st, 13 students in Grayson's World Languages Department from Spanish Levels 1 to AP participated in the Foreign Language Association of Georgia (FLAG) Spoken Language Contest, and ALL 13 received medals! Grayson Winter Guard was awarded the Bronze medal in their classification at the Championships in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is the first time our Winter Guard has earned a medal since 2021. -
Grayson Varsity Tennis girls won Region Championship and boys win Region Runner-Up.
