  • Grayson’s Class of 2025 had 866 graduates, which included 221 AP Scholars, 114 Dual Enrollment Scholars, 272 Honor Graduates, 177 graduating with a 4.0 GPA or higher, and 52 National Honor Society graduates. They received 4 Ivy League school offers. Four seniors were awarded a full ride scholarship to the following universities (two students to MIT, University of Pennsylvania and Duke University through Quest Bridge scholarship program. Additionally, the class of 2025 was awarded a total of $63,339,570 in scholarships of that $12,205,922 in academic scholarships and $51,133,648 in athletic scholarships.

  • Georgia Department of Education recognized Grayson as a Math Leader School! This recognition is based on student achievement and/or student growth. For high school, the award criteria focused on Algebra.

  • Grayson was recognized as AP Honors Roll Bronze school, AP Access and Support School, AP Humanities School, AP Humanities Achievement School, AP School of Distinction, AP STEM School, and AP STEM Achievement School by College Board.

  • Sports Highlights

     

    • Football was Region Champions and STATE Champions

    • Volleyball was Area Champions

    • Flag Football was Region Champions and made it to the Final 4

    • Boys and Girls Basketball was Region Champions – Boys Basketball made it to the Final 4/Girls Basketball were State Runner-Up

    • Girls Tennis was Region Champions

    • Boys Tennis was Region Champions

    • Boys Track was Region Champions

    • Boys Soccer Region Champions

    • Baseball Region Champions

  • Named School of the Year for its outstanding commitment, vibrant participation, and exemplary leadership as the most active school in GAASA.

  • Grayson’s DECA earned outstanding achievements at Georgia DECA's Regions Competition. 13 out of 18 competitors placed as Top 7 Finalists, showcasing their determination and commitment to excellence in competition and their representation of Grayson DECA.

  • Fine Arts Highlights

    • 1st place in Region for Female Soloist

    • 1st place in Region for SSA Trio and STATE CHAMPIONS in Female Trio

    • 1st place in Region for TTBB Quartet

    • 1st place in Region for Humorous Interruption

    • The Wind Ensemble (our top ensemble) earned all superior ratings

    • The Symphonic Band (our second ensemble) earned 2 Superior ratings and 1 excellent rating

    • Concert Band 1 earned all Superior Ratings

    • Concert Band 2 earned all Superior Ratings

     

  • Grayson has earned a College Success Award in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024 based on its success in preparing students for college.    

  • Kris McNeill is Grayson High School's Teacher of the Year.
