- McClure Health Science High School has been named a 2024 GaDOE AP Honor School: AP Access and Support School, AP Humanities School, and AP STEM School.
- A McClure Health Science High School 11th-grade student was one of two students in GCPS who earned a $40,000 College Board Big Future Scholarship.
- McClure Health Science High School offers 20 Advanced Placement courses across all curriculum areas.
- 71% of McClure Health Science High School’s 2024 graduating class took an Advanced Placement course over the span of their four years in high school.
- McClure Health Science High School has maintained a graduation rate of over 93% every year since opening in the Fall of 2019 which is consistently one of the highest among GCPS high schools.
- McClure Health Science High School’s 2024 graduating class received $5.6 million in academic scholarships. This is the highest number of academic scholarships per pupil in Gwinnett County Public Schools for the third consecutive year.
- 36% of the 2024 McClure Health Science High School graduating class were honor graduates, which ranks as one of the highest percentages of honor graduates among GCPS Title I high schools. Students earned this distinction by maintaining a 90% or higher overall GPA.
- McClure Health Science High School was recognized as a Best High School in the US News and World Report. MHSHS ranked # 50 in the state of Georgia high schools, #39 in the Atlanta Metro Area high schools, and #9 in Gwinnett County Public Schools high schools.
- McClure Health Science High School allows every student to engage in CTAE pathways, including: Patient Care Tech; Allied Health; Exercise Physiology; Medical Front Office; Sports Medicine; Computer Science; Marketing; and Audio, Video, and Film. Also, MHSHS had their 2024 CTAE student of the year as a GCPS CTAE student of the year top 6 finalist.
- At McClure Health Science High School, we teach through the health science lens and offer a variety of health science experiences such as learning opportunities with our strategic partners, Piedmont Eastside, Gwinnett Newton Rockdale County Public Health Department, Northside Hospital, Skylark Adult Daycare, Kaiser Permanente, and CVS Health.
- McClure Health Science High School implemented the "No Place for Hate” program as a part of PBIS which cultivated student leadership, united the school community, and engaged students and staff in active learning. As a result, a student leader was recognized as a 2024 Anti-Defamation League Southeast "No Place for Hate" High School Student Changemaker.
