- Mountain View High School has the largest dual enrollment program in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Over 190 seniors participated in Dual Enrollment and earned over nine hundred hours of college credit saving families over $310,000.00.
- Mountain View is an Advanced Placement Honors School in six categories: AP Access and Support School, AP Humanities School, AP Humanities Achievement School, AP School of Distinction, AP STEM School, AP STEM Achievement School. Mountain View has a strong Advanced Placement Program with 180 AP student scholars.
- Mountain View trained teachers and planned for a new accelerated STEM/PBL/Student Leadership Program called SUMMIT that will begin with over 110 ninth graders in 2024-2025. Students completing the program will also earn the Engineering CTAE diploma seal.
- Mountain View High School implemented a Character Strong advisement program to focus on student well-being and leadership.
- Mountain View High School offers 43 Clubs that allow students to connect to school in an area of interest. Some of our clubs include Student Council, National Honor Society, and Key Club. Mountain View has a large school council, and two state student council officers are Mountain View Students. Three Mountain View students hold state Key Club offices. One is running for an international position. Our Key Club teacher advisor is the district administrator for the state over 160 clubs and 6,000 members.
- Mountain View High School hosted the annual Mountain View Cluster Art show which highlighted student artists from all cluster feeder schools in addition to our Mountain View Orchestra, Chorus, and Theater students.
- 18 Mountain View varsity sports teams made post-season playoffs.
- Mountain View High School offers students the opportunity to engage in several CTAE pathways from Business Education to Marketing. Students receive hands-on training in their chosen field and gain industry certification in a high-demand field upon the completion of a pathway.
- Mountain View had thirty-one athletic signees and twenty-six fine arts signees.
- Mountain View High School proudly registered 182 students to vote this school year, showcasing the power of youth engagement and civic participation in our republic.
