- Parkview High School was named one of the Best High Schools in Georgia by U.S. News & World Report and one of the nation's most challenging schools by The Washington Post.
- Parkview's 3DE Program, a collaborative venture with Junior Achievement, is a multifaceted approach to learning that uses case methodology to integrate real-world concepts and connectivity into the high school experience.
- Parkview students have the opportunity to engage in a number of CTAE Pathways, from Engineering and Computer Science to Nutrition and Food Science. Classes in these pathways provide students with hands-on training in their fields and the opportunity to earn industry certification upon the completion of the pathway.
- The Georgia Department of Education recognized Parkview as an Advanced Placement Honors School in the following categories: AP Access and Support, AP Expansion, AP Humanities, AP Humanities Achievement, AP School of Distinction, AP STEM, and AP STEM Achievement.
- Over 40% of Parkview students enrolled in Advanced Placement courses, with students taking 2,754 AP exams in 2025, an increase of 455 exams from the previous year.
- Parkview's Performing and Visual Arts students continue to be well represented in local and state competitions, with numerous students selected to participate in District and State ensembles.
- The Parkview Band traveled to Europe over winter break and performed in the Rome New Years Day Parade.
- World Languages teacher Kristen Menosky was named the state of Georgia's German Teacher of the Year by the American Association of Teachers of German.
- Latin teacher Rachel Ash received the American Classic League's Merens Award, an award given to instructors who have demonstrated distinguished service to the Classics profession and the ACL.
- Parkview offers over 100 clubs and activities to allow students to engage in areas of interest outside of the classroom.
