- Paul Duke STEM High School was named a Georgia Department of Education Title I Distinguished and Reward School.
- US News and World Report named Paul Duke STEM High as one of the Best High Schools in Georgia.
- Ten Band students qualified for the District Honor Band, and two students qualified for the Georgia All-State Band.
- Georgia Department of Education named Paul Duke STEM High School an Advanced Placement (AP) Honors School in seven categories, which was the most in Gwinnett County Public Schools. In addition, Paul Duke STEM High School earned Gold recognition on the 2023 AP School Honor Roll from the College Board.
- Concert, Symphonic, and Chamber Orchestras participated in the annual Large Group Performance Evaluation each year. Our Concert group earned 2 Excellents and 2 Superiors. Our Symphonic group earned 4 Superiors, and our Chamber group earned 3 Superiors and 1 Excellent, including a perfect score from 2 of the three judges.
- The Paul Duke STEM Odyssey of the Mind team finished in 1st Place at both the State Competition and World Competition. This team of students has successfully competed together for seven years winning 1st place for seven straight years.
- Our Technology Student Association (TSA) finished the Georgia State Competition with 27 Top 10 Finishes, and we finished as the 3rd Best TSA Chapter in the state of Georgia.
- National Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences Student Production Awards recognized students with two Student Emmy Awards: Best Long-Form Non-Fiction and Best Animation/Graphics/Special Effects.
- One of our robotics teams was named the 2024 Georgia State Vex Robotics Overall High School Champion.
- A team of Paul Duke STEM students won the top award at the 76th Georgia Science & Engineering Fair (GSEF).
