  • During the 2024-25 GCPS Science Fair, multiple student projects advanced to the State Fair. The district sends six student projects directly to the International Science Fair, Peachtree Ridge students accounted for three of those projects.
  • Peachtree Ridge High School's STEM Program, SPIRE (Stem Program for Innovation Rigor and Excellence), continues to be a pillar and is dual certified with the Georgia Department of Education and Cognia.
  • Over 34% of Peachtree Ridge students take advantage of advanced placement courses, with 1,117 students taking 2,456 exams.  Peachtree Ridge High School was again recognized as an AP Honor School for 2025 in the following categories: AP Humanities School, AP Humanities Achievement School, AP Schools of Distinction, AP STEM School, and AP STEM Achievement School. This distinction recognizes our dedication to providing academic opportunities for students to prepare them for college and careers after graduation.
  • The class of 2025 consisted of 366 honor graduates. This is the most in the history of Peachtree Ridge and accounts for 44% of the students in the graduating class.
  • The mean SAT school average was 1037 which was 42 points higher than the school national average and 21 points higher than the school average for Gwinnett County Public Schools.  The composite ACT score average was 23.5 which was 4 points higher than the school national average and above the school average for Gwinnett County Public Schools as well.
  • Peachtree Ridge High School offers students the opportunity to engage in various extracurricular activities with 90 clubs, 35 varsity and sub-varsity athletic programs, and six fine arts opportunities with a wide range of levels. Students who engaged in one or more extracurricular opportunities graduate in 4 years at a 98.5% graduation rate.
  • The Robo Lions Robotics Team qualified for the FRC international championships and finished 13th in the world.
  • Multiple Peachtree Ridge High School’s Varsity sports teams advanced to the state playoffs. The varsity boys' basketball team won region championship for the second consecutive year.
  • The Dance Team won the 2025 GHSA State Championship.
  • Peachtree Ridge High School Positive Behavior Intervention Program (PBIS)was fully implemented for a second consecutive school year where students were recognized and rewarded for positive behavior related to attending classes every day and on time.  In addition, PBIS points were awarded to students for exemplary behavior toward peers and teachers.
