  • Coleman Middle School's two Lego League Robotics teams advanced to Super Regionals, with one of the teams advancing to the State Competition.
  • Two Coleman Middle School students were selected to have their art displayed at the Georgia State Capitol and another student’s work was selected to be on display at Duluth City Hall during Youth Art Month.
  • Coleman Middle School received an Arts Education Program Grant from the Georgia Council for the Arts to support implementation of additional arts integration strategies.
  • A Coleman Middle School 8th grade cellist made it into the very competitive All State Orchestra. His accomplishment along with superior marks received by Coleman Middle School Orchestra and Band students at their annual LGPEs made for an exciting year in Fine Arts.
  • Coleman Middle School was recognized by State School Superintendent, Richard Woods, on March 13, 2025, as a Georgia Department of Education 2023-24 Math Leader school for exceptional achievement and growth in Math.
  • In science, 18 Coleman students participated in the GCPS District Science Fair, of which 14 won 2nd or 3rd place.
  • Three Coleman Middle School students were recognized for their outstanding performance in Nordson's Tech Time Writing Challenge.
  • Coleman Middle School’s Visual Arts, Music Tech, and Computer Science programs were awarded Jackson EMC Bright Ideas grants.
  • Coleman Middle School achieved operational status as a PBIS school.
  • Coleman Middle School continues to be recognized as a GA DOE STEAM certified school."
