- Our students showcased their exceptional skills in the District Science Fair, securing a remarkable 2nd place in the Earth & Environmental Science and Robotics & Intelligent Machines component.
- Our Fine Arts department continues to flourish in Chorus, Orchestra, and Band. In Orchestra, three students auditioned and were accepted into Kendall Honor Music. Three more students participated in the Georgia All-State Orchestra. Six students participated in the GMEA Solo & Ensemble and earned Superior ratings. 7th and 8th-grade orchestra students earned superior ratings at the Large Group Performance Evaluation, and they received Gold Marks at the Southern Star Music Festival.
- Our 7th and 8th Grade Chorus students included ten students who participated in the District Honor Chorus. Eighth-grade students received excellent ratings at the large group performance evaluation and Silver ratings from all of the judges at the Southern Star Music Festival.
- Our Band department continues to thrive in its quest for goodness. Fourteen students made the District Honor Band. One student made the All-State Band. One 7th-grade student made the Honor Band and Georgia Middle School Band Festival. 7th and 8th-grade students received Superior and Excellent ratings at the Large Group Performance Evaluation. Eight 6th-grade students were invited to attend the 6th-grade band Honor Clinic. Our Honor Eagle Winds received Superior Ratings at the High Note Festival Adjudication.
- Our school's commitment to student development is evident in our thriving PBIS program. We offer a diverse range of clubs and extra-curricular activities, including three Foreign Language courses (French, German, & Spanish), STEM, Computer Science, Robotics club, Drama class with annual productions, Girl Talk, Student Council, Student Ambassadors, Peer Leaders, Yearbook club, and Journalism.
- Our 8th-grade students can enroll in six different courses for which they can receive high school Carnegie Unit credit that will count towards graduation.
- At Creekland Middle, our teachers receive the CHEF (Collins Hill Education Foundation) grants each year to support student innovation within the classroom.
- Creekland Middle School's commitment to fostering positive behavior was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education. We were awarded Operational status for our successful implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in the last school year, which encourages and rewards students for exhibiting appropriate school conduct.
