School Highlights

The following school highlights showcase how Radloff Middle School is fulfilling Gwinnett County Public School's four strategic priorities of Empathy, Equity, Effectiveness, and Excellence. Visit the School Profile Dashboard to find more detailed data on our school.

  • Radloff Middle partnered with Helping Hands to address food security and started a during-the-day food rescue program. In addition, a partnership with HealthMPowers and the Atlanta Food Bank helped us to expand our food pantry. Radloff MS held several Saturday drive-through pantries. These programs have flourished and enabled us to support some of our community's food insecurities.
  • Two Radloff scholars enrolled and graduated from the Gwinnett County Youth Police Academy.
  • A Radloff teacher was admitted to the inaugural class of Gwinnett County Public School Georgia State STEM Education Master’s Program.
  • Radloff MS Autism Level 2 scholars published a book “All About Me”. Each scholar wrote about the unique talents and gifts that they bring to the world.
  • Three Radloff scholars advanced to the State level for the Robotics Competition. They designed and programmed a robotic car that could parallel park.
  • Radloff MS partnered with HealthMPowers to provide cooking classes for Radloff Middle Families. These classes allowed families to collaborate to create a healthy, nourishing meal.
  • Two Radloff teachers received grants from Jackson EMC totaling close to $4,000. One of these grants supported sustainable food development, and our special program scholars have increased their gardening skills to support the development of these sustainable foods (i.e... cucumbers, tomatoes, and radishes).
  • Radloff MS continues to expand programs that address the whole learner. Radloff MS expanded the fine arts program and added a guitar course. In addition, Radloff MS offered during-the-day clubs for all scholars twice monthly. These clubs provided scholars and lighthouse keepers time to bond over a shared interest.
  • Radloff MS scholars facilitated student-led conferences with their parents. Scholars took ownership of their learning and shared their academic and behavioral progress with their parents.
  • Radloff Middle School partnered with external stakeholders to host our annual Fall Festival, International Night, Multilingual, STEM, and a Whodunnit Literacy Night where families, scholars, and community members came together to celebrate and learn.
