- Trickum Middle School Principal Ryan Queen was honored as the 2024 Middle School Principal of the Year by the Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals.
- Trickum Band Program was presented the 2023 Exemplary Performance Award by the Georgia Music Educators Association, one of the most prestigious designations a music program can receive from the organization.
- Trickum Middle School Symphonic Winds performed at the Music for All Southeastern Regional Concert Festival at the Rialto Center for the Arts in downtown Atlanta.
- Trickum’s Junior Leadership Corps Drill, Color Guard, and Exhibition Teams brought home 19 trophies for this season, continuing their run of placing in every competition for four consecutive years. Additionally, the Raiders team had four first place team trophies and three first place individual trophies.
- One 7th-grade student from Trickum secured 1st place in the Gwinnett Science, Engineering, and Innovation Fair, showcasing his exceptional project on "Making Casein Plastic Cups."
- 27 Trickum students competed in the regional Odyssey of the Mind tournament. Two of our teams placed 1st, one placed 2nd, and one placed 4th.
- Trickum’s Relay for Life team raised $11,400 for the American Cancer Society.
- Trickum Middle School was 1 of 4 GCPS middle schools to earn the designation of a PBIS Distinguished School.
