- 19 students audition for placement into the 2025 Georgia Educators Association All-State Band. Four earned placements into the band, and one named as an alternate. This is the highest honor that a band student can receive in the state of Georgia.
- Multiple Odyssey of the Mind teams competed at the State Competitions at the Columbus State University. Two of the teams placed First for their problem and one team placed sixth. Two of the teams will be moving onto the Worlds Competition towards the end of May.
- Trickum Middle School was recognized by the state as a PBIS Distinguished School for the second year in a row.
- JLC Drill, Color Guard, and Exhibition Teams brought home 5 trophies.
- The Math counts team 2nd place overall and 2nd place among Gwinnett County public and private schools.
- The 7th Grade Guitar Ensemble, 8th Grade Guitar Ensemble, and the Rock Guitar Ensemble all scored straight Superiors at Giocoso.
- Trickum students participated in the National Reflections arts program and 7 advanced to the next level of competition.
- Trickum Middle School was officially designated as a No Place for Hate® for the 2024–2025 school year.
- The Relay for Life team recently hosted its 4th Annual Car Show and raised over $6000 for American Cancer Society.
- Trickum Middle School was a FY25 Georgia Outdoor Learning Demonstration (GOLD) grant recipient from the GADOE which resulted in the expansion of the garden area to include raised beds and furniture to complete an outdoor classroom space.
