- Gwinnett Online Campus had the theme of “Bringing Into Focus” for students and staff to focus on student success and achievement in every aspect of teaching and learning.
- GOC was named as a Best High School in the 2024-2025 National Rankings.
- Through the Graduate Gwinnett program, 145 students met their goal to receive their diploma during this school year.
- Gwinnett Online Campus was recognized by the State of Georgia Department of Education as being a Literacy Leader for 2024 Milestone achievements. This is in recognition of increasing the percentage of students reading at or above grade level.
- Each year, the Georgia Department of Education honors schools and programs that have fostered and sustained a positive school climate through the use of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support. For the 2023-2024 school year, GaDOE recognized Gwinnett Online Campus as one of the 12 GCPS PBIS Distinguished Schools and one of the 61 GCPS PBIS Operational Schools for dedication and hard work in supporting students through PBIS implementation.
- GOC student Allena Nguyen scored exceptionally high on her qualifying MOS exam, and was named Georgia’s State Champion during the Spring Qualifier and selected to compete in Certiport’s 2025 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship.
- The 2024-25 Gifted Annual Awards Ceremony presented by the Office of Accelerated Programs & Gifted and the Gwinnett Alliance for Gifted Education named Chloe Gilliam as one of the recipients for the Summer Scholarship. William Fincher was the scholarship winner for the Ruth Cowen Award and Ansley Owenby was the scholarship winner for the C. Annette Eger Award. William Fincher also represented GOC as Gifted Student of the Year.
- GOC Sophomore Jaxson Merritt was selected for All State Theatre at the 2025 Georgia Thescon where he performed both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies in front of over 6000 people. Gracie Starling, who is also a GOC Sophomore, earned superiors on her Thespy IE Musical Solo.
