Registration for Transfer Students

  • This is for students who are already registered at a different Gwinnett County middle school and are transferring to LRMS. 

    Obtain a Change of Status form from the school you are withdrawing from along with the withdrawal form. 

    Fill out the forms.

  • Registration Procedures

    Walk-in registration is available
    Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

    Current or previously enrolled GCPS students

    Parent must bring in a withdrawal packet from the student's previous school in addition to all required documents to complete your student's registration.

    New to GCPS 

    First, register your student online.  Then bring all required documents to the school to complete your student's registration.

    Required Documents

    Please note, your student's registration will not be completed until the school receives ALL required documentation.  Please bring the Required registration documents with you.

  • Withdrawal Procedure

    Withdrawal requests must be made in person by the enrolling parent or guardian.  A government issued photo ID must be provided at the time the withdrawal request is made. 

    Withdrawal packets may be picked up by the enrolling parent in the main office 24 hours after the withdrawal request is submitted.   

    Student records can not be faxed to other schools; they must be picked up or mailed from our school.

Registration for Returning Students

  • This is for students who are re-enrolling in Gwinnett County after attending school in another district. 

    You can only register in-person.

    Registration must be completed using paper forms.

    The online system is not an option because it will create a duplicate record in the system.

    Come to the school for in-person verification and submission of documents.

What to bring with you to registration

  • When you visit your school to complete registration, please bring:

    • Your child
    • An official document showing proof of birth date
    • Proof that you live in the attendance zone
    • A valid Georgia certificate of immunization (GA Form #3231)
    • Evidence of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (GA Form #3300-Rev. 2013)
    • A photo ID for the adult registering the child
    • Proof of authorized person to enroll
    • Child’s social security number (or you may sign a waiver at the school)
    • Report cards or official school transcript (current K-12 student
    • Withdrawal form from the previous school (current K-12 student)
    • Discipline records (students enrolling in grades 7-12)
