Dana Brockriede, 3-5 Counselor
Hello students and parents! My name is Meyuna Shepherd, a Professional School and Mental Health Counselor. I am so excited to be working here at Chesney Elementary School! I was born and raised in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. In 2010, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications and Marketing at The University of West Georgia. 2015, my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health at Argosy University and my School Counseling Add-on at Mercer University in the Spring of 2021. My passion is to help students develop into their true whole self! My mission is to make sure that all students have an equitable education while coming alongside them to break barriers, succeed academically, grow developmentally, all while dancing and having fun!
I enjoy hanging with my friends and family, eating pizza, traveling, and reading a good fiction book.
