Knitting/Crochet Club
- Mission: Crochet club is a club developed to create a space where people can learn to crochet, or have fun crocheting together and sharing tips. This club is all-inclusive to students and teachers! We work on projects together as a group, providing written patterns and helping them hands-on. Crocheting is a great hobby that can have a very positive effect on people’s mental health. It can calm and relax you, even helping to relieve anxiety. Thus, the name ‘Thread Therapy.’ It also encourages students to be creative and create new patterns that may have a positive impact on memory. Doing so as a group, can also make for a stronger sense of community and friendship.

News Crew
- Mission: Our mission is to the keep the school informed about important upcoming events and to support daily procedures such as the pledge of allegiance, moment of silence, and the PBIS initiatives of Pinckneyville. We do this by applying skills and technological knowledge of broadcasting equipment to compose a daily recording of announcements to be displayed every morning when the school is in session.

Boys' Basketball (7th and 8th)
- Boys' Basketball (7th & 8th grade)- Pinckneyville Middle School has a boys’ basketball team that plays other middle schools in Gwinnett County.
- Mission: The purpose of competitive basketball is to provide instruction in teamwork, fundamentals of basketball, and sportsmanship within the framework of vigorous competition.
- Activities: Activities will include pre-conditioning and team tryouts in October. The regular season begins in November and ends in February with a postseason tournament.

- Mission: To create more technical and tactical players through competition
Activities: 2-3 practices weekly, 8-12 games per season, and a county tournament in March - Sponsor: Ryan Buffington and Sara Sanders
- Meeting Dates/Times: Boys practice on Mondays and Fridays at 7:30 am-8:50am. Girls practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 am-8:50am. Both teams can come in on Wednesday mornings to practice on their own or attend an academic tutoring session.

- Cheerleading (7th and 8th grade)- The Pinckneyville Blue Devils Cheer Squad are the cheerleaders for girls’ and boys’ basketball teams. These students are members of the seventh and eighth-grade class. Tryouts are held in the spring of the school year before the Fall/Winter basketball season. The students cheer during the November-February basketball season.

Intramurals
- Intramurals - During the fall and spring, Pinckneyville has an intramural program for students in all grades. The program begins before school and lasts for one hour. The intramural program is free and under the direction of certified teachers.

Norcross Junior Blue Devils Volleyball
- Mission: The Norcross Junior Blue Devils Volleyball program is a feeder program for Norcross High School providing a competitive volleyball program for middle school students at Pinckneyville Middle School, where they compete with other area middle schools.

Reader's Rally
- Mission: Readers Rally is a reading quiz bowl-style competition for students in grades four through twelve. Students read 10 designated books from a predetermined list and answer questions about those books. Each Gwinnett County school may send one team of ten players or less to the Readers Rally event, which is held in late February or early March.
- Activities: Our meetings will consist of discussing the books, writing questions and answers for each book, and practicing for the competition.

- Mission: The goal of the Pinckneyville Spanish Club is to promote an awareness and appreciation of the Spanish-speaking world and its rich and diverse cultures through monthly meetings.
