  • Art Club

    Grade Level: 3rd & 4th Grade

    Teacher Leader: Ms. Santos-Flores

    Meeting Days: Tuesdays 7:45-8:20 AM, September 4th-March 25

    Registration: Students can pick up an application from Ms. Santos-Flores. A signed permission form from a parent or guardian is required.

    Club Description: Students in art club will enjoy an enriched art experience, where they will create a variety of art using different tools and techniques. Ms. Santos-Flores will teach participants to use a variety of 2D and 3D media such as pen, pencils, paint, and fibers. Students will learn how to care for and curate their work in a professional and artistic manner. At the end of the club, there will be an opportunity for your child to display his or her artwork at the school in December.

  • Chorus Club

    Grade Level: 4th and 5th grade

    Teacher Leader: Ms. Adams

    Meeting Days: Wednesdays 7:45-8:20 AM  

    Winter performance meeting dates: September 4th-December 12th

    Spring performance meeting dates: January 29 - May 7

    Registration: Students will take home a permission form. A signed permission form from a parent or guardian is required. 

    Club Description:  The chorus is for students that enjoy singing, acting, and who want to be a part of a musical performance.The mission statement of chorus at Corley is to encourage the personal and emotional growth of its members by providing the opportunity for impactful musical and performance experiences, leading to a lifelong appreciation of choral music and musical performance. Students are expected to be on time, and attend weekly practices. Each semester of chorus concludes with students having the opportunity to perform in a choral performance*.

    *The winter performance will take place on December 12th.

    * The spring musical will take place on May 7th.

  • Corley Robotics Club

    Grade Level: 3rd - 5th Grade

    Teacher Leader: Mr. Huttinga, Ms. Shepard & Ms. Fisher

    Meeting Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:30-5:00 PM 

    First Sememster: September 11 - December 10

    Second Semester: January 21 - March 24

    Registration: Students will complete an application. A signed permission form from a parent or guardian is required. 

    Club Description: What if you could build a better world? Where would you begin? More than ever, we must come together to innovate and solve problems. Corley's robotics club challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. During the CITY SHAPER season, our team will choose and solve a real-world problem in the Innovation Project. We will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Particiaption is important. Students will need a parent or guardian to pick them up at Corley Elementary School at 5:00 PM. Students selected to the competition team will have the opportunity to compete at the district quarterfinals in December. 

                                                                                

  • Good News Club

    Grade Level: 2nd-5th

    Meeting Days: Tuesdays 3:30-5:00, October 29th - March 24th

    Registration: Pick up a permission slip

    Club Description: Good News Club strives to build strong foundations in children using biblical principles to teach good character and morals.

  • Jump Roping P.E. Club

    Grade Level: 2nd - 4th Grade

    Teacher Leader: Coach Humphrey

    Meeting Days: Wednesdays 7:45-8:20 AM

    Fall Semester: September 4 - November 16

    Spring Semester: February 5 - April 1

    Registration: Pick up a permission slip. First 15 permission slips per grade-level will be allowed to participate. A signed permission form from a parent is required.

    Club Description: Our mission is to allow further opportunities for students to be physically active through a variety of activities that they can pursue outside of school.

  • Science Olympics Club

    Grade Level: 3rd - 5th Grade

    Teacher Leader: Dr. Pumphrey & Mr. Huttinga

    Meeting Days: Wednesdays 7:45 - 8:20 AM -  January 29 - March 10

    Registration: Pick up an application. Coaches will choose which students are on the competition team. A signed permission from from a parent or guardian is required.

    Club Description: Students will work on teams to prepare for the upcoming science olympics, which will take place on science night on March 10.
