ACCESS Testing Sign-Up is Now Underway for Digital Learning Students
GCPS will be administering ACCESS testing in-person to students at their middle school. Students who elect to continue all-digital instruction are strongly encouraged to sign up to participate in this assessment. Please complete this ACCESS TESTING SIGN UP FORM so that Lilburn MS has an accurate count of students testing on each date offered.
Currently, the two dates being offered are this Thursday, February 11th and Tuesday, February 16th.
**IF YOUR CHILD IS NEW TO LILBURN MS THIS SEMESTER, PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL BEFORE SCHEDULING TO VERIFY YOUR CHILD'S TESTING STATUS.

Mustang Mastery Intervention Program (MMIP) Begins October 31st
Lilburn Middle School is excited to have the opportunity to provide interventions for our scholars who have excessive NTI’s, gifted learners, and students who struggle to demonstrate mastery. Scholars with different learning needs require different intervention approaches, so this intervention program will be targeted to support the needs of individual learners at Lilburn Middle School. Lifelines Suicide Prevention Program at LMS for 7th graders
We all share a common goal for our children to be safe and protected. This suicide prevention program will be taught to 7th grader through role playing exercises, during the month of October. Please click on the link here to read the letter explaining the program.
If you do not wish for your student to participate, please send in a signed note to your child's teacher or counselor indicating your preference.

As we prepare to welcome our 7th graders back into the building tomorrow, and 8th grade students next week, we want to make sure all students--both face-to-face and virtual, have all the necessary supplies for school to be as prepared and productive as possible. As we begin our Hybrid (Face-to-face and digital) learning, we will be implementing a new school-wide schedule BEGINNING THIS TUESDAY, AUGUST 25TH. Tutor.com Now Offering FREE Tutoring Online Through Gwinnett Co Public Liibrary
Beginning today 4/6/2020, the Gwinnett County Public Library is partnering with the school district to provide online tutoring support to Gwinnett students through Tutor.com.

Coronavirus Disease - 19 Alert!
Given recent news reports about cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading in other countries, we wanted to provide our families with an update. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website, “For the general American public, who are unlikely to be exposed to this virus at this time, the immediate health risk from COVID-19 is considered low.” Please click here to read important information from the county health department. In light of the particularly harsh flu season we are experiencing, coupled with rising concerns many have regarding the Coronavirus, we thought it best to share some healthy habits to keep you and your families safe. While there have been just a few confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the United States and none in Georgia, we are committed to raising awareness and to working with public health officials to answer questions you may have.
