  • Rising 6th MeetingVirtual Rising 6th Grade Parent Meeting, Thursday, April 27, 6 PM

    We’re looking forward to seeing hte parents and guardians of Rising 6th Graders in our Virtual Rising 6th Grade Parent/Guardian Meeting Thursday, April 27 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
    During the meeting, you will virtually meet our principal, Dr. Irish, our 6th Grade Assistant Principal Mrs. Carmichael, our 6th Grade Counselor Mrs. Parrish, Parent Instructional Coordinator Mr. Doyne, and several 6th grade teachers. 

    Here are some of the topics that will be discussed:

    • Transitioning to 6th Grade
    • 12 Keys to Middle School Success
    • Technology Access Points for Student Success
    • Counselor’s Corner
    • Yearlong Connections Classes
    • Parent Center
    • Specialty Groups (Special Education, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and Gifted)

    Please log in to help your child have a smooth transition to middle school.

    We will have interpretation in Spanish and probably in Vietnamese as well.

  • SEA 2023

    Summer 2023: Support + Enrichment + Achievement 

    Parents: We are now preparing for our Summer Enrichment and Achievement (SEA) Program that will take place from June 12 - June 30.

    Registration will be by INVITATION ONLY and is only for students who meet certain academic criteria. We will be sending home a letter with invited students on Monday, April 17.

    Transportation and meals (breakfast and lunch) are provided for children participating in the SEA program at no cost to families.

    There's Still Time to Fill Out Your Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 is the deadline to submit your Free and Reduced Price Meal Application. As we move into SY23, students will now pay for meals based on their individual student eligibility. Therefore, we strongly encourage parents to complete the Free and Reduced-price Meal Application.

    During Open House on Friday, all parents will be asked to complete a free and reduced lunch application for your child(ren) (you can list all of them on one form). You will also be asked to register for myPayments plus, where you can digitally sign school forms, add lunch money, and pay for various events.

We work on skills and play basketball games against each other at every practice. Come join us every Tuesday after school, provided you have a ride to pick you up at 5:30pm.

    LMS Lunch Distribution

    Lilburn Middle School’s lunch distribution for digital students will be from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the cafeteria entrance by the bus loop.

  • Summer Food Resources and Assistance

    Gwinnett County Public Schools: Information regarding meals during summer school and the K-8 Summer Enrichment and Acceleration program will be communicated with participating families. However, all GCPS families can take advantage of the curbside pickup service for children ages 18 and younger. The meals—both breakfast and lunch—will be provided at 27 middle schools from June 14 to July 2 between 11 a.m. to noon on weekdays. (All middle schools will participate except Five Forks MS and Jones MS, which are undergoing construction.)

    Gwinnett County Community Services is offering free grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches at 25 locations. Curbside pick-up of nutritious meals is for 18 years or younger or those 19 years of age or older with a physical or mental impairment. Click here for a list of county locations and additional information

    Gwinnett Cares is another resource for families seeking food resources and assistance this summer, available at https://gwinnettcares.org/need-help/individual/food/.
