  • Digital Learning Day: 12/6/22

GCPS has 52 schools that will be used for voting on Tuesday, December 6, for the Runoff Election between Sen. Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker for one of Georgia’s U.S. Senate seats.

To provide the highest levels of safety for all schools and students, and to allow GCPS principals, election board officials, and district support staff to provide the conditions for an efficient election, Dec. 6 has been designated as a Digital Learning Day (DLD).

On this specially scheduled DLD, students access lessons in eCLASS but do not have virtual class time with their teachers.

To ensure that students have a nutritious breakfast and lunch to fuel their learning, our bus drivers will be on the road and at every bus stop to deliver meals prepared by the School Nutrition Program staff.

Families should expect buses to run their routes from approximately 10:45 a.m. to noon, beginning at the first stops on the route. These delivered meals are provided at no cost to families and are available to anyone 18 years old and under.

Runoff Election Day is a Digital Learning Day. Tuesday, December 6, 2022

  • Right At School After School Program

Right at School LogoRight at School is coming to Gwinnett County beginning with the 2022-2023 school year!

The Right at School program runs from the afternoon bell until 6:00 pm.  Parent/guardians can work with Right at School to create flexible monthly schedules to support families' busy lives.  Families can choose afternoon options for one, two, three, four, or five days a week.  Drop-in care is also an option, allowing parents/guardians to pay only for the days care is needed.  With support from Gwinnett County Public Schools, families at our school who are in need of aftercare support can attend at a discounted rate and can attend for free after being approved for CAPS ( child care subsidy).

Every day, students will have a healthy snack, engage in dynamic fitness activities, student-driven projects, team building, leadership development, and have the opportunity to complete homework.

Visit the Right at School website for more information.
