Beginning of School Information
The most up-to-date health information and planning details for all schools can be found on the GCPS website.
The entering Class of 2024 did not participate in a traditional on-campus Summer STEM Experience this year. Parents and students were emailed on 7/9 and 7/16 with details and instructions for what to do at home and virtually in lieu of the normal SSE. Families who did not receive both emails should (a) check their junk/spam folder and then (b) call the main office (678-518-6700) for assistance.
Welcome Back emails were sent to all students and parents on 7/22 (Part 1) and 7/30 (Part 2). These emails included numerous pieces of beginning-of-year (BOY) information for families such as operating procedures and plans for laptop distribution and schedule / materials pick-up. As above, families who did not receive both emails should (a) check their junk/spam folder and then (b) call the main office (678-518-6700) for assistance.
Families of entering freshmen should have received all four emails, 7/9; 7/16; 7/22; 7/30.
[These emails were sent using the GCPS School Messenger system -- the same one that the school district uses to send notifications about digital learning decisions and inclement weather closures. Please note that if any user ever clicks the "Unsubscribe" button at the bottom of one of these email, that email address becomes dormant to the system due to FCC rules and that user will not receive any more emails from ANY school in GCPS. If a GSMST parent is in that situation, call (678-518-6692) or email Ms. Czarick in the Counseling Office and we can reverse that "Unsubscribe" for you.]
The health and physical safety of students, faculty, and staff continues to be our top priority and we appreciate your support for GSMST!
