Dear Eighth Grade Parent/Guardian:
Students and teachers are currently engaged in registration for high school. Hull teachers have made core course placement recommendations for students. The GSHS is an anonymous, statewide survey instrument developed by many divisions within the GaDOE including the Assessment and Accountability Division and in collaboration with the Georgia Department of Public Health and Georgia State University. The GSHS identifies safety and health issues that have a negative impact on student achievement and school climate.
Student survey results, copies of the student survey questions, and parent opt-out forms are available on the Georgia Student Health Survey webpage. If you do not want your child to participate in the survey, please complete an opt-out form and return it to your child's homeroom teacher by December 12, 2019.
Parents, if you drive your student(s) to school, please note that they may be dropped off between 8:45 and 9:20. If there's an occasion where you need to drop them off before 8:45, please note that they should not be dropped off earlier than 7:45. If dropped off prior to 7:45, they are unsupervised because supervising staff members are not required to report prior to this time. If they are dropped off prior to 7:45, they may not be able to enter the building.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Congratulations, Mr. Dramis, on being selected as one of the twenty-five semifinalists chosen by the 2020 Gwinnett County Teacher-of-the-Year Committee.
