GCPS high schools rated among the best in state and nation

Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology (GSMST) heads a list of Gwinnett County public high schools named among the best in the state and nation. U.S. News & World Report evaluated data on more than 24,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. More than 18,000 public high schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.

     GSMST is listed as the #1 school in Georgia and one of the ten best in the nation. Of the Gwinnett schools ranked, two are in the top 20 in the state (GSMST and North Gwinnett High School). Eight fall within the top 50 in the state, (GSMST, North Gwinnett High, Brookwood High School, Mill Creek High School, Peachtree Ridge High School, Parkview High School, Grayson High School, and Dacula High School), and 14 are ranked in the top 100 statewide, (GSMST, North Gwinnett High, Brookwood High, Mill Creek High, Peachtree Ridge High, Parkview High, Grayson High, Dacula High, Archer High, Collins Hill High, Duluth High, Lanier High, Mountain View High, and Norcross High).
