Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run - Heart & Sole is an after-school program for girls that teaches life skills through exciting lessons and running games. The program culminates with girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to build confidence and give girls a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. 

Lottery registration for Girls on the Run - Heart & Sole will be from January 7 to 16 at 11:59 pm at https://www.girlsontherunatlanta.org/Program-Registration. For teams that do not fill during the lottery period, registration will re-open on January 17 and continue through February 13. Girls on the Run - Heart & Sole meets twice a week, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:15 - 5:45 PM beginning the week of February 4 and ending the week of April 29 at Trickum Middle School. The program is for 6-8th-grade girls. Ms. Hamilton, Ms. Estrada-Johnson, Ms. Cliatt and Ms. Kinser will serve as the 4 coaches for the spring season. 

Girls on the Run uses an income-based sliding scale so that every girl who wants to participate can. The program registration fee is available on a sliding scale from $10 to $185. For more information and to register, visit https://www.girlsontherunatlanta.org/Program-Registration
