Beginning in March 2019, the Gwinnett County Board of Education will go on the road, as it does each year, meeting once in each Board member's district. The meetings are a time for the School Board to share information with the public. They also are an opportunity to hear CEO/Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks' annual address on the state of the school district, focusing on the district's strategic direction, recent successes and new initiatives.
Our area's meeting will take place on March 28 at 7pm in the Shiloh High School theater. Refreshments will be served beginning at 6:15pm. Audience members will be able to ask question about the information shared using a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Citizens can attend any meeting, however. There will also be meetings at Meadowcreek High School (3/26), Central Gwinnett High School (4/9), Archer High School (4/11), and North Gwinnett High School (4/16). These meetings are also at 7pm in the school's theater.
