Talent Show Application

Do you have a special talent you’d like to share with our community? CCES is looking for students who are interested in performing in our 5th Annual Camp Creek Elementary School Talent Show. The show will be held in the Parkview High School Theatre on Tuesday, April 9 at 6 PM. We encourage applicants to be creative! Possible talent categories include: song, dance, musical instrument, band, skit, comedy, magic, sign language, karate, and gymnastics. Auditions for the Talent Show will be held between 3:45 and 5:15 PM on Monday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 6 at CCES.

? If you are interested in auditioning, please pick up a form from the front office or access via the Camp Creek ES website, and return it to the front office by Thursday, February 14.

? Letters will be sent home to each applicant, Friday, February 22, assigning you an individual audition time for either March 4 or 6.

? Due to the large number of students participating, late applications WILL NOT be accepted and auditions must be scheduled ahead of time.

? Only students with an assigned audition time may come on the afternoons of auditions. All selected participants will be announced Monday, March 11. TALENT SHOW GUIDELINES:

? Acts may be individual acts, group acts or acts that are performed by a whole class (with the teacher giving direction and helping).

? Family members may participate with students. If family members are participating in the act with the student, the family members must also audition.

? Each audition must be 2 minutes or less; after 2 minutes, your audition will be stopped. ? Acts will be chosen by the Talent Show judges based on evidence of preparation, originality and overall variety of talent.

? Students who audition must be dressed appropriately and in costume, if needed.

? If you are singing a song, you must use a karaoke track or provide live accompaniment. Music/lyrics must be appropriate for school.

? There will be no “lip syncing” and you may not sing over someone else’s vocals.

? No fire and no live animals.
