Registration for 2021-2022: Course Approvals and Course Change Requests

As of Tuesday, March 2, we are now in the Course Approvals and Change Request Process.

 

Course Approvals and Change Requests: For the 2021-2022 school year, verification of course requests will be completed digitally. Families should review the document under Course Request in My StudentVue for Students and under Documents in ParentVUE for Parents. We need to hear from each of our students for next year!

PLEASE REVIEW THE COURSE REQUEST CAREFULLY because we schedule for the entire year and changes become harder to make later in the process.  AP CLASSES CANNOT BE DROPPED after May 2021. Additionally, there are placeholders used (detailed below) so if there is a class that you don't recognize, it may be a placeholder for another class or program. 

Once you have reviewed your course requests, you will need to complete a brief Google Form using this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfm_fTdGhQW-GaRvrfVRmfZ83zoLxxWBpvsZGFV0RK4D9I4wQ/viewform

You will either confirm that the requests are correct or make change request(s).  If you are interested in taking classes digitally for next year, this is something that you can note on the form as well. Students with more than 12 course requests listed, need to let us know which class(es) to drop or we will select for you. If your request appears incomplete, please let us know that as well.

For the best chance of receiving your requested change(s), please complete the Google Form as soon as possible. If space is available in the course you are requesting and you meet the prerequisite(s) for the course, we will make every effort to accommodate the requested change. We will continue to accept forms through SUNDAY, MARCH 7th, 2021. However, courses may fill up before this time.

If you are requesting a level change or course change that the course teacher did not recommend, please note that this form will serve as a course waiver. This waiver includes the understanding that NO SCHEDULE CHANGES will be made until the following semester or following year, depending on the specific course. You take responsibility for helping your student be successful in this class.

Courses ending in CR - indicate the RISE Program

Courses ending in GVS - indicate Hybrid/Digital classes

LA PLACEHOLDER - Hybrid/Digital Critical Literacy

MA PLACEHOLDER - indicates a S2 Math class offered in S1

GENERAL PE - Specialized Weight Training class for athletes
