Rising 6th Grade Parent Night - Mark Your Calendar!
We're looking forward to hosting our 2023-2024 Rising 6th Grade Parent Night at Dacula Middle School on Tuesday, March 7th from 6:30pm - 7:15pm.
Special Program Meetings will begin at 6:00pm in their designated locations.
Information will be coming home in student Friday Folders from their current elementary school (Alcova, Dacula, Mulberry) on Friday, March 3rd.
2023-2024 Rising 6th Grade Connections Course Information
Current 5th students will make their Connections Preference Selections for the 2023-2024 school year beginning Friday, March 3rd.
In the event that there are more qualified students than seats available for a particular course, students will be selected randomly.
** Please keep in mind that student schedules are not finalized until August 2023. Final course placements will not be available until that time. **

Rising 6th Grade Explore Team Interest Form - Open through March 19th!
What was once referred to as our STEM Team is now our Explore Team, which better reflects the various project-based learning lessons that will take place on this team.
What does the Explore Team have to offer?
· Lower student-teacher ratio
· Cross-curricular integration to incorporate STEM and Humanities
· Flexibility in scheduling
· Project-based learning experiences
Who is best suited for this team?
This team is suited for students who have the drive to be successful, even if they have traditionally struggled academically or socially. Students who are highly responsible for their academics and behaviors are far more likely to be successful.
How do I express interest?
To express an interest in the Explore Team for next year, simply complete the interest form below. Completing the form does not guarantee placement on the team. Additionally, placement on the team is not guaranteed for all 3 years of middle school.
