Update regarding Prom 2020

Thursday, March 26th

Juniors and Seniors,

As you have heard by now, Governor Kemp has closed all Georgia public schools through at least April 24, 2020. In light of this decision and the fact that the venue itself is closed, it is with a heavy heart that we inform you that this year’s Junior/Senior prom will not be able to take place.  We know that this is not the news that any of us were hoping for. We remain optimistic that our Duluth Family will be reunited soon and that we will then have the opportunity to celebrate this special time in your lives in some way. While we are incredibly disappointed, we understand that there are likely many questions especially regarding refunds.  We ask that you please remain patient as we work out details and answers but please know that we will handle the process in a fair manner understanding that you are already going through enough and don't need to be concerned with money issues. Details will follow soon on this.  Until then, trust that we miss you and we love you.

Juniors and Seniors,

We again apologize that prom had to be cancelled. We will be handling dues as follows:

Juniors who have paid junior dues will have their dues used to pay for next year's prom.

Seniors who paid their junior dues will have those dues refunded through MyPaymentsPlus by the end of the the week of April 6.

Please contact Tammy Glaser at tammy.glaser@gcpsk12.org with any questions.
