Updated Permissive Transfer Request Info and Info for Private School Students for the 2020-2021 School Year

As of Wednesday February 12, 2020, Paul Duke STEM High School is currently accepting a limited number of transfer applications for the 2020-2021 school year for students heading into 9th grade that live outside of the Norcross cluster.    

Students requesting a permissive transfers must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be current 8th grade students residing within GCPS promoting into 9th grade next year (We are not currently accepting permissive transfers for students in 10th-12th grade next year)
  • Applicants must be in good academic and discipline standing at their current middle school
  • Applicants must be prepared to provide transportation for their students at 6:45 AM and 2:00 PM each day. (We are not able to provide transportation for students that live outside the Norcross cluster.)

Permissive Transfer Process

  • Permissive transfer applicants will need to get an application from their middle school and have it signed by the student's current principal. (Private school permissive transfer applicants please call Denise Millholland at 470-323-3612)
  • Permissive transfer applications will need to dropped off in the Paul Duke STEM front office between the hours of 7 AM - 3 PM. Please do not fax or mail. 
  • Applications will be numbered in order of receipt.

Private School Students

Private school students that reside in the Norcross cluster can select to attend Paul Duke STEM High School for the 2020-2021 school year by filling out the Private School Commitment Letter and the PDS Registration Form and dropping them off in the counseling office or faxing to us at 678-442-5270.

Beginning in March, our counseling team will reach out to families who have completed both forms to begin scheduling appointments to complete the course registration process.
