The Basics: All You Need To Know

Parent Portal & ParentVUE

GCPS families have a new tool that makes it even easier to access their student's information on the Parent Portal. GCPS parents can use their smartphones to access ParentVUE to find their student's schedule, grades, assignments, and more! The ParentVUE mobile app is available in Google Play for Android devices and the App Store for Apple (iOS) devices. If you don't have a Parent Portal account yet, now's the time to get one. Learn more and register for an account online.

ParentSquare

We are excited to announce that our school district has adopted a new form of school-to-home communication called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with your child’s school and Gwinnett County Public Schools.

Click here for more information about activating and using ParentSquare.

 Bus Routes

When students start entering the building, school buses will be running. Your student's bus stop time, location, and bus number can be found in ParentVue or the Parent Portal. If you require assistance, please call the school.

School Lunch

Free/Reduced Lunch Application

This year all GCPS students, including those taking classes virtually, will have access to breakfast and lunch at no charge. Families whose students would be eligible for meal support in a typical year should complete the free/reduced-price meal application as soon as possible. Confirmed eligibility for free/reduced-price meals ensures access to many benefits beyond school meals (free SAT/ACT, free college applications, free/reduced internet, additional technology for schools, training/resources for parents to use at home, etc.)
