SY21-22 Free and Reduced Price Application

  • The online application form is available 24/7 and is a secure environment.
  • Parents are welcome to complete and submit an online application form at anytime.
  • When you submit your online form, please make sure you receive a confirmation number.
  • Later, you will be able to use this number to find out the status of your child’s online application.

This year all GCPS students, including those taking classes virtually, will have access to breakfast and lunch at no charge. In all, 135 school cafeterias will offer breakfast and lunch daily.

While meals will be provided at no charge for all students this school year, families whose students would be eligible for meal support in a typical year should complete the free/reduced-price meal application as soon as possible. Confirmed eligibility for free/reduced-price meals ensures access to many benefits beyond school meals (free SAT/ACT, free college applications, free/reduced internet, additional technology for schools, training/resources for parents to use at home, etc.)

Students and parents can browse menus using an app—search for “Nutrislice” on Google Play or the App Store—or they can find menus online at gwinnett.nutrislice.com. GCPS will start the year with a number of student favorites on the menu including crispy chicken sandwiches, 100% all beef burgers and hot dogs and a variety of delicious pizza items. In addition, the district’s Vegetarian Line has been revamped and a vegetarian item will be offered every day at elementary, middle, and high schools.
