Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) seniors have been recognized by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) with the Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) Student Award.

Candace Elkins, a senior at Parkview High School, has been awarded the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement Award from the Legion of Valor of the United States of America.

A Lanier High School student’s video concept and production talent earned 1st place recognition and a MacBook Pro in the 2025 Heads Up Georgia Student Video Contest, sponsored by Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS).
