Drones are fun flying objects that are small but mighty and have become a uniquely fun addition to our classrooms in Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) since 2018.

The Gwinnett InterVention Education or GIVE Centers, located in the East and West portions of Gwinnett County, provide alternative education programs that serve the educational and behavioral needs of students, while assuring their academic progress in supportive environments.

Students at Baggett Elementary School will soon have a front-row seat to the power of renewable energy, thanks to a new solar panel system installed on campus.

The Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Foundation has received a $50,000 grant from Gas South to enhance science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education initiatives across the district.

During its regularly scheduled meeting on November 21, 2024, the Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the appointment of new principals at Harmony Elementary School, McClure Health Science High School, and Twin Rivers Middle School.
